The best fishing or wildlife tour you can book in Seward. Terry Mangold is a long-time friend and knows Resurrection Bay so well. I've had some of THE.MOST amazing experiences with Terry. Have met my limit of silvers and kings, seen orcas up close, and listened to the songs of humpback whales.
Every Memorial Day weekend my girlfriends and I pack out a weekend's worth of meals, beverages, games, and books to live off the grid for three days. We love having the yurt with a beach away from the busyness of life for three whole days. Some of my favorite memories have been made in Kachemak Bay.
Talkeetna Lodge happens to be one of my top suggested stays in Alaska. The lodge is quiet, restful and faces a stunning view of Denali.
Kenai River Float Trip
The summer is a brilliant time to float the Kenai River and take advantage of some of Alask'a premier fishing. There are several outstanding float services based out of Cooper Landing Alaska. I would recommend Alaska River Adventures or Drifters Lodge.
